General Guidelines carefully to
understand the important details regarding admission as well as your
stay with us. |

Once the
Doctor has recommended hospitalization on the OPD card, you can
contact the Admission Desk
with the card for enlistment.
-
Please
inform your presence in Kolkata and
confirm bed availability before coming to avoid waiting time on
your arrival at the Institute.

On arrival,
please report to the admission desk. You will be required to
deposit the specific package amount at the cash counter. Kindly
note that financial clearance is a must before any
procedure or surgery. For economically weak patients, the fund
letter has to be submitted at the time of admission.

In case of
Emergency patients, you will
be required to deposit a fixed amount of
Rs.10,000/- for CCU / ITU / Semi Private, Private
Admissions and Rs.5,000/- for
General Ward You will be required to do the admission
formalities after the patient is admitted.

Please go
through the schedule of charges for package details and confirm
your package with the Admission Officer.

Please give
correct data about yourself (surname, address etc.) at the
time of admission as per requirement. Changes with respect to same
will not be entertained at a later date.

Admission
formalities may take around 25-30 minutes. Non-availability of
beds might prolong the admission process. Kindly co-operate.

Non-routine
tests (tests done outside package), additional surgeries,
tests done outside RTIICS, will be chargeable accordingly and will
be payable at the time of discharge.

Visiting Consultants (other
specialties like Urology,
Nephrology etc.) fee
will be charged extra.

Kindly
contact the Admission Officer during visiting hours everyday to
get an estimate of your outstanding
payments.

You or your
attendant will be required to sign an authorization form,
authorizing the institute to carry out the procedure. You will be
registered as an inpatient and will be given a set of papers and
visitor’s pass. You will then be escorted by our staff to the
concerned ward.

Visitor’s pass can be renewed between
4 p.m.– 6 p.m. and has to be returned at the time of
discharge to the Discharge Officer. In case of inability to
return the pass, Rs.100/- will be
charged as Fine.

You will be
required to bring your personal toiletries like toothbrush,
toothpaste, comb, saving kit, soap, tongue cleaner, shampoo,
powder, cream, baby lotion, sanitary napkins, baby napkins etc.

No
outside food is permitted. We provide
food from our kitchen to all our guests. Relatives staying with
the guest will have to purchase meal tokens from the hospital
canteen. In case coupons are not utilized, they can be refunded
at the canteen itself. Jain food will be served on
request.

The
Institute endeavors to ensure that the best possible treatment &
care is given to the patients, their recovery is fast. With this
objective in mind, we request you to refrain from moving around in
the hospital and keep the number of visitors to the minimum.
