and humble dream, dreamt and shared by Dr.
Devi Shetty – a dream combined with
integrated interest and dedication to reach out to every individual,
who suffered from a heart ailment, treat with utmost care, and help
and educate them to achieve perfect health. |

At the hospital, teams of
dedicated professionals are working with a missionary zeal to ‘cure
with compassion’. Accepting their social commitment and striving to
achieve “Social Welfare Through Heart”,
they work with a common dream in their eyes and a singular goal in
their minds. The strength of the dreams of Dr. Devi Shetty and Dr.
Alok Roy to reach out to the common man with world class cardiac
care has been the driving force for all the hearts that join hands
to save hearts at RTIICS. |

Keeping harmony with that effort,
RTIICS has introduced a mobile cardiac diagnostic clinic that will
travel in different areas of Kolkata, districts of West Bengal and
neighboring states to provide the latest cardiac care at the
doorsteps of people totally free of cost.
Called the ‘Cardiac Clinic on Wheels’,
this air-conditioned unit is fully equipped to perform tests
like Echo ECG and Blood Sugar Tests,
essential to diagnose any heart ailment. |

Competent
doctors are accompanying the unit to supervise the tests and
offer consultations. This facilitates early diagnosis of heart
ailments, which is of prime importance for the success of an
intervention, while doing away with the obvious inconvenience of
coming down to the health care institution. Our mission is to
make the latest cardiac care available to the maximum number of
people belonging to all cross sections of the society, at their
doorstep, affordable by all. |

Camps: |
|
RTIICS since its inception in
the year 2000 has held more than 300, free heart check-up camps
till date seeing more than 9000 patients. Since Jan’2005, the
Institution has also started holding Free
Camps for Orthopaedics/Neurology/Urology/Nephrology
therefore the number of patients being seen has become almost
400-500 in each camp. The institute has gone as far as
PURULIA, BALARAMPUR, DHANBAD, JAMSHEDPUR
by our ‘Cardiac Clinic on Wheels’
