Post Graduate Fellowship in Emergency Medicine (PGFEM)

Information for Candidates

• Strict rules are applied for enrollment and passing of PGFEM.

• Please read carefully the criteria for enrollment & passing rules of PGFEM course.

• Internship completion certificate & MBBS pass certificate is must at the time of appearing the interview

• Scoring of minimum 50% marks at screening test to be held before interview/ admission

• Candidates have to perform well before the PGFEM interview board.

• Candidate having BLS, ACLS, and PALS completion certificate will get an advantage.

• PGFEM fellows have to score minimum of 55% in theory & 70% in practical exam. This will be conducted by the GWU at the end of 2 years.

• Scoring 55% is a must in all the monthly pre & post test.

• Thesis completion & submission is a must to get the GWU certificate.

• Course fee of INR 4.5 lakhs to be paid at admission/ interview in the form of draft in favor of “Asia Heart Foundation” payable at Kolkata.

• Relevant documents will be provided to avail bank loan.

• INR 10,000 need to be deposited as caution money, which will be refunded at the end of the course.
