Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia is a programme envisaged by Asia
Heart Foundation and conducted by
Rabindranath Tagore International
Institute of Cardiac Sciences
for aspiring anesthesiologists to
specialize in the field of Cardiac Anesthesia. |

Training |
|
The candidates selected under this programme will be attached to
the cardiac anesthesia division of
Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences under a multidisciplinary team consisting of the
anesthesiologists, cardio thoracic surgeons, cardiologists and
intensivists. Students take an active part in clinical discussions,
seminars, journal clubs and management of patients, pre-operatively
during operation and post-operatively Monthly internal assessment
exams and an annual university exam is conducted. Periodic tests are
also conducted on completion of various chapters. |

MD (Anesthesia) from a MCI recognised university or DNB (Anesthesia) |

Admissions |
|
The board of interview constituted by RTIICS would interview
eligible candidates and selections will be based on merit. |
