He is also credited with performing the first

yrs in Railway Hospital, Perumber Chennai as a Senior
cardiac surgeon and head of the unit, joined this
institution in about a year back.

Gold Medal for best performance in MCh from CMC-Vellore,
Dr.Das has performed more than 5000 cardiac surgical
procedures, which include more than 3000 coronary artery
surgeries.

Hospital, Sydney, Australia and in pediatric cardiac surgery
from Green Lane Hospital Auckland, New Zealand.
